Flex Motore

After the meeting between President George Bush and the leaders of the Big Three, the public has welcomed the commitment of Parties to the United States highly energy dependent.
Even if there are cars to flex fuel production that can run on alternative fuels, Business Week reported that the promise of these vehicles is not what they seem. This reaction came after the President held meeting energy with the Big Three and Toyota was not invited to the party.
Business Week reported that there is a dirty secret behind production of flex-fuel vehicles. Government policies allow car manufacturers to produce gas guzzlers as long as they produce flex-fuel vehicles. And in fact most of flex fuel vehicles already on the country's roads are far from clean fro.
It is also reported that the Big Three has produced thousands of units of flex fuel vehicles to increase their CAFE average since cars are flex fuel ratings given high gas mileage. These flex fuel cars are not practical for most consumers do not have access to alternative fuels according to Business Week. In fact, one study found that only one percent of flex fuel vehicles actually use E85 as an alternative fuel while for the rest of the lot, 99 percent of them are still in the gas oil.
This secret has enraged environmental watchdogs, as the Sierra Club. Dan Becker, director of the program of global warming club calls for production of flex-fuel vehicles and the hype that accompanies as a fraud "total". "Manufacturers are trying to protect themselves from having to make vehicles more efficient. They are avoiding commitment reduce dependence on oil, the fight against global warming, save consumers money, and savings Detroit-term competitors like Toyota, "said Becker.
The reaction comes after the President met with Rick Wagoner of General Motors, Alan Mulally of Ford, and Tom LaSorda for Chrysler to discuss energy policy. It may be recalled that the absence of Toyota in the meeting has received criticism because Toyota is able to provide management information in insightful production of vehicles that will support the Government's target of reducing energy dependence of oil producing countries.
Some of the vehicles presented to the President from that meeting are flex-fuel vehicles from the Big Three's lineup. A General Motors model that runs on ethanol is one of the vehicles presented to President Bush and a plug-in hybrid Ford and DaimlerChrysler Jeep running on biodiesel. All these vehicles are designed to save fuel and reduce emissions to the use of advance mechanical and electrical "> automotive electrical components. If the government takes a step towards expanding industry of alternative fuels, these vehicles will surely be used to achieve the administration "Twenty in ten "goal.
